Our pupils have told us that one of the most effective ways of revising is using published revision guides and workbooks.  We realise that these are expensive, the total cost being about £75,  therefore we have purchased them for our pupils and are asking for a £20 voluntary contribution towards the cost.

With Christmas fast approaching, it is important that students are reminded what we, as a school community, expect of them in terms of behaviour during the festive break from school.  This letter has been written in partnership with West Midlands Police.

We hope that students enjoy socialising with friends and family over the festive period but we also want to ensure they feel confident to keep themselves safe and away from danger, crime and anti-social behaviour.

Even though World Book Day is actually on Thursday the 7th March, we will be celebrating it on Wednesday 6th March 2019 due to PD Day.  There will be activities happening in the school throughout the week culminating with staff dressing up as their favourite character.

Reading with your child can have long lasting benefits and the good news is that reading together for just 10 minutes can make all the difference.

We would like to encourage all parents to read with your child at home and the following letter has lots of ideas and information about how you can ‘Share a Story’ at home.
